STILTLIFE StreeTTheater is looking for performers!
STILTLIFE is a multidisciplinary, international street theater ensemble that has been creating high-profile street and stilt theater under the artistic direction of Annette Hildebrand since 2011. We are looking for performers to join our group from January 2026. We create immersive performances that combine beauty, cutting-edge technology, visual spectacle, and humor. STILTLIFE is an independent producer, affiliated with Impresariaat Bureau Stef Arntz, and works with subsidies for some productions.
The ensemble consists of professional singers, dancers, acrobats, actors, and technical inventors. We perform throughout the year in the Netherlands and Europe, with approximately 90 performances per year. The busiest period is from June to December.

For our upcoming productions, and specifically for the show EARTH, which will tour the Netherlands and Germany starting in May 2026, we are looking for energetic and physical performers, dancers, actors, and musical artists—including those who are just starting their careers.
We are looking for people who are open to adventure, enjoy traveling, and want to immerse themselves in the world of street theater. We are primarily looking for performers who want to learn to move on stilts — but there is also room for dancers who move on the ground. Experience with stilt walking is not required — we offer professional training and guidance — but if you can already move on stilts, be sure to respond!

- Physically strong and expressive in movement and play?
- Someone who loves improvising and collaborating in a close-knit team?
- Willing to work in a variety of locations, from city squares to festivals in the Netherlands and beyond?

Practical information:
- Rehearsals and training start: Monday, February 16, 2026, in Amsterdam.
- Remuneration: at least market rate, invoiced per project (freelancer).
